Build confidence, resilience, and sustainable habits with
chronic illness coaching
For people with EDS and other chronic illness
Because chronic conditions don’t just affect your body
Learn to thrive physically, mentally, and emotionally
Did you know people with chronic pain are 79% more likely to suffer from a mental health condition?
If you suffer from anxiety or depression and Ehlers–Danlos Syndrome, you’re in good company. Many people with EDS and other chronic conditions live in a constant cycle of pain and fear.
But you don’t have to.
You can build confidence in managing your condition. You can develop resilience through the ups and downs of chronic illness. And you can create sustainable habits and realistic action plans that help you thrive, not just survive.
It’s all possible through chronic illness coaching at Connective Wellness.
Why chronic illness coaching for EDS patients?
And how is it different from traditional counseling?
Traditional counseling is great for diagnosing and treating mental health disorders.
Chronic illness coaching is great for creating and following a plan to combat them.
Our chronic illness coach is a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) who blends clinical expertise with coaching momentum. With a background in assessment, trauma-informed care, and crisis intervention, she helps you create the routines and skills you need to grow — and she keeps you accountable to keep growing.
She isn’t just your counselor. She’s your coach, training and cheering you on toward long-term success.

Nicole Sheintul, Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW)
Nicole Sheintul is a chronic illness coach and Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) based in New York. Living with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) herself, she is deeply committed to empowering others with chronic illnesses to recognize their strengths, build resilience, and create a fulfilling quality of life.
With a background in hospital settings, Nicole has extensive experience in crisis management, emotional support, care coordination, and life transitions. She brings a deep understanding of healthcare systems and the emotional impact of living with chronic conditions.
Her approach is strengths-based, person-centered, and trauma-informed—focused on resilience building, stress reduction, mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and solution-focused care. She works with adolescents, adults, and older adults, supporting clients through challenges such as chronic pain, diagnosis acceptance, grief, relationship issues, and post-surgical adjustment.
Nicole’s professional training, combined with her lived experience, allows her to bridge the gap between clinical care and compassionate connection. Her holistic lens fosters empowerment, self-compassion, and sustainable growth for each person she supports.
